Privacy Policy

The data controller for all personal data processed through FIXI5 is FIXI5. You can contact us at hello@fixi5.ie or visit fixi5.ie.

We may collect the following categories of personal data when you use FIXI5:

• Full name and email address
• Phone number
• Property address and Eircode
• Booking history and service records
• Appliance data (make, model, installation date, warranty expiry)

• To provide the FIXI5 home management platform service
• To match customers with qualified, verified tradespeople
• To send service reminders, warranty alerts and booking notifications
• To process and record bookings made through the platform

• Contract performance — processing is necessary to fulfil a booking or manage your account
• Legitimate interests — for platform security, fraud prevention and service improvement
• Consent — where you have opted in to marketing communications or specific data uses

• Booking records are kept for 3 years from the date of booking
• Account data is retained while your account is active, and for 1 year after account deletion
• You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@fixi5.ie

FIXI5 uses the following third-party services to operate the platform. Each processor is GDPR-compliant and bound by a data processing agreement. Where data is transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA), appropriate safeguards are in place as noted below.

• Supabase — data storage and authentication. Hosted in Ireland (AWS eu-west-1) — data remains within the EEA.
• Resend — transactional email delivery. Based in the USA; transfer covered by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
• Stripe — payment processing. Operates globally including Ireland; transfer covered by SCCs and Stripe's EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification.
• Vercel — hosting and deployment infrastructure. Based in the USA; transfer covered by SCCs.
• Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics — analytics and usage statistics (only loaded with your explicit consent). Based in the USA; transfer covered by Google's EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification.

Your personal data is primarily stored in Ireland (within the EEA) via our database provider Supabase. Some of our third-party processors operate outside the EEA (USA). In all such cases, transfers are protected by one or more of the following safeguards: Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You may request details of the safeguards in place by contacting hello@fixi5.ie.

As a data subject under GDPR, you have the following rights:

• Right of access — request a copy of your personal data
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your data
• Right to restrict processing — limit how we use your data
• Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured format
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests

FIXI5 uses the following categories of cookies:

• Necessary cookies — essential for session management and authentication. These cannot be disabled as the platform requires them to function.
• Analytics cookies — used to understand how visitors use FIXI5, powered by Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager. These are only set with your explicit consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your cookies.

When you first visit FIXI5 you will be presented with a cookie consent banner. Your preference is stored in a cookie named fixi5_consent for 12 months. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may affect your ability to log in.
